VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A 36-year-old Virginia Beach man was indicted Monday on first degree and second degree murder charges in connection with a December 2012 murder.
According to Harvey Bryant with the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Ulysses Lee Keeling of Portsmouth was also indicted on robbery charges.
Bryant said Keeling shot and killed Rafael Hernandez Dec. 27, 2012 near his home in 4100 block of O'Hare Drive.
Keeling will face a jury trial starting July 16, 2013.
Charges have been made in a domestic abuse investigation involving a 74-year-old woman in Elizabeth City.
