NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police are investigating a homicide after a body was found on a Norfolk street Friday evening.
According to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department, police responded to a gunshot victim call at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Lincoln Street.
A man was found lying on the street suffering from gunshot wounds. Amos said he was pronounced dead at the scene when crews arrived. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no suspect information at this time.
