GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) - A suspect was arrested within two hours of allegedly robbing a 7-Eleven in Gloucester Monday.
According to Maj. Ryan Cookson with the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a 7-Eleven in the 3000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway for an armed robbery at approximately 12:30 a.m.
The clerk told police a man in his 20s entered the store carrying a handgun and demanded money. Warren said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
Approximately two hours later, Warren said police located the suspect, Stephen T. Reaves. He was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Warren said the handgun used in the robbery was found with Smith.
