HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A woman who sent a man to prison in connection to a false report of a sexual assault has pleaded guilty.
Elizabeth Coast pled guilty to perjury Tuesday morning in a Hampton courtroom. There was no plea agreement.
Johnathon Montgomery spent several years in prison after Coast said he sexually assaulted her outside her grandmother's home when she was just 10. She later recanted her story and Montgomery was freed.
Coast will be sentenced on July 22. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
