EASTERN SHORE, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia State Police are investigating another arson on the Eastern Shore.
Sgt. Michelle Anaya with the Virginia State Police said the latest fire sparked on Metompkin Road just south of Nelsonia Road around 1:10 a.m. Tuesday.
The abandoned shed was overgrown with trees and destroyed by the fire.
Arson has been determined to be the cause, adding to a string of cases on the Eastern Shore since November that's now nearing 80. The cases remain under investigation and a reward of $25,000 for any information leading to an arrest and conviction remains in play.
