CHESAPEAKE,. Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake police said a man wanted in connection with a homicide investigation was arrested in Detroit on Friday.
At 1 p.m., the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team took Antoine Lorenzo Bowden, 27, into custody.
According to police spokeswoman Kelly O'Sullivan, Bowden is a suspect in the shooting death of Terrance Moore.
Moore was found in an apartment in the 2000 block on Aug. 13 suffering from a gun shot wound. The 31-year-old later died at Norfolk General Hospital.
Bowden's arrest was a collaborative effort between Chesapeake police, Chesapeake Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Marshall's Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team.
Bowden faces charges of first degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
