CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police need help identifying a suspect who was caught on surveillance stealing copper wire from Dominion Virginia Power.
The incident occurred between May 3 and May 6 in the 500 block of Sign Pine Road. Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said the suspect(s) stole nearly $40,000 worth of copper wire from a fenced-in area owned by Dominion Virginia Power.
If anyone recognizes the suspect, they are asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
