PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - The Way, Way Back opened in limited release on July 4th -- for those playing the home game, that means NOT in Hampton Roads. But The Way, Way Back bus tour stopped at Ocean Breeze Water Park that day to promote the movie.
The Hampton Roads Show's film critic headed out to interview Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. The co-writers and co-directors of the film. They also both star in the film. She talked to them about their insipration behind the film, the project itself, what it's like to win the Academy Award (which they did for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Descendents) and where they keep their Oscars.
