AUSTIN (KXAN) - Marina Shifrin put in her two weeks notice with some creativity -- and not without a dance break first.
The interpretive dance for her boss, if you will, is set to Kanye West's "Gone."
Marina says she works for an awesome company that makes news videos but has sacrificed her relationships, time and energy for this job for the last two years.
"I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets," she writes in her video post. "I believe it's more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come."
So she figured she'd make one of her own, to focus on the content instead of worrying about the views -- all while letting her boss know that she quits.
Her focus on content quality seems spot-on because the views are coming.
Oh, yeah. "Wanna deal with me?" asks Marina.
She's posted up her website for prospective employers.
