(WPRI) - In an upset win, Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley and Independent Joseph L. Kennedy in the Massachusetts special election. Brown will now take over the U.S. Senate seat once held by Sen. Ted Kennedy in one of the bluest states in the nation. Here are images from the campaign trail.
