SAN DIEGO, Calif. (NBC/VNR) - Staff at the San Diego Zoo had their hands full Wednesday morning trying to examine a baby panda.
Xiao Liwu refused to sit still for the exam and was more interested in playing.
It took three sets of hands to measure and examine the giant panda cub.
Veterinarians checked out his eyes, teeth, heart and lungs.
Liwu and the other giant pandas at the San Diego Zoo are on a research loan from china.
