Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has been providing quality orthopaedic care for more than 50 years to residents in Hampton Roads.

Originally founded by Dr. Wilhelm Kretz, one of the first orthopaedic surgeons in the area, Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine continues to evolve to meet the demands of the ever-changing orthopaedic healthcare industry.

Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine was the first in Virginia to offer open multi-positional MR imaging. With this technology, we have been able to offer area physicians the ability to see a patient's pathology when the patient is experiencing pain in standing, sitting, in flexion and extension, and rotation and lateral bending.

Our physicians are affiliated with Mary Immaculate Hospital. Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is also one of five group owners of the Mary Immaculate Ambulatory Outpatient Care Hospital.
