She majored in journalism at Bowling Green State University with a minor in English. She worked for the New Yorker magazine for several years. She also worked at Lentheric Ltd. Perfumes in New York. She loves watching the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and reading biographies. She has been a weather watcher since 2000.
