HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) - Two days into Spring and it looks as though Punxsutawney Phil was so very wrong as snow fell across Hampton Roads Thursday.
Most areas would see just a dusting of snow on grass and decks. Parts of the Eastern Shore could see about half an inch.
The official first day of Spring was Wednesday, but temperatures have yet to reflect the change. Meteorologist Jeff Edmonson says temperatures should be close to 50 during the weekend.
