PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - In light of dozens of street closures and flooded intersections in Hampton Roads due to heavy rain from Hurricane Sandy, VDOT has released a list of safety tips to avoid flooded areas and avoid accidents.
High tides were expected Sunday evening as well as Monday morning and late afternoon.
