Food will not be served. Cots will not be provided. Emergency shelters should only be used if you are unable to find a safe location to stay with family or friends. You should bring everything needed to be self sustaining for three days.

Lakeland and Nansemond River have generator power for emergency lighting and to support kitchens. Kings Fork High School is fully generator powered.
Alcohol and firearms are not permitted at any shelter. Further, do not bring or wear expensive jewelry.
