Instructions for Using the System

Welcome to Super Doppler 10 Weather Watch. 

Our system is automated.  Here is how it works:

Call the automated system at (757) 673-7316.

Enter your 4-digit code number and then your 4-digit passcode and follow the prompts.
 
Within the automated system, you will be under the "Automated_Category" category.  A complete listing of the prompts in your category is below.

Your closing will air on both WAVY and FOX 43.  If there is a problem with the automated system, you can call the newsroom at  (757) 396-6180.

Your code will remain the same year after year.  We ask only that you keep us informed of any changes in the personnel authorized to call in a closing.  Those changes can be sent via email to the address listed below.

If you are a Preschool or Daycare facility, a Church or Religious facility, a Small Business with less than 100 employees, a Small Group or Organization, or a small Medical facility or Clinic, you will no longer air on WAVY-TV and FOX 43.  However, you will be listed on our WAVY and FOX 43 websites, WAVY.com and FOX43tv.com. 

Please understand that we promote our websites extensively.  The shear number of groups listed above combined renders our On-Air closings almost impossible to follow.
