NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Crews demolished a crime-plagued apartment complex in Norfolk Tuesday morning.
The city bought Denby Park's seven apartment buildings for $2 million last year. The purchase is part of the city's plan to build safe, healthy neighborhoods that will sustain future generations
The apartments are near Wards Corner and have been a haven for crime.
