VDOT to conduct JRB test lifts Friday

ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - The Virginia Department of Transportation will conduct four test lifts at the James River Bridge throughout the day Friday.

The lifts will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. with each opening expected to last up to 20 minutes.

According to VDOT officials, this is part of routine maintenance.
