Norfolk residents can park in garages

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk officials announced Tuesday that, in anticipation of possible tidal flooding of low lying areas in downtown Norfolk from the approaching Nor'easter, residents in surrounding neighborhoods will be permitted to park, at no charge, in select city garages beginning Tuesday evening through Thursday evening.

The parking is allowed in the following Norfolk City garages:

West Plume Street
Boush Street Garage
York Street Garage
Freemason Street Garage
MacArthur South and North Garages
