VDOT plans to test the HRBT floodgates

HAMPTON, Va. - WAVY.com has a traffic alert for travelers who use the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel.
VDOT plans to test the HRBT floodgates December sixth.
The routine procedure will start that Sunday morning at 4:00am
and last about two hours.
Drivers in both directions can expect traffic stops up to 30
minutes.
