Jefferson Ave. road work scheduled

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - CSX crews working on a railroad crossing at Jefferson Ave. will cause a four-block section of Jefferson Ave. to close this weekend.

Jefferson, between 36th and 40th streets, will be closed starting Friday night at 6 p.m.

According to the city, the street is expected to reopen sometime Monday.
