RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) - In an exclusive on-on-one interview with WAVY.com, Virginia Secretary of Transportation Sean Connaughton shared his thoughts on the fight to delay or stop the tolls proposed for the Downtown and Midtown Tunnels.

He addressed the budget amendment to delay tolls on the people until January 2014. Connaughton also answered questions about Suffolk Delegate Chris Jones' proposal to scale back the project and either eliminate or reduce the tolls.

He also spoke out about the potential lawsuit that will be filed by Del. Ken Alexander questioning the constitutionality of the Downtown and Midtown tunnel tolls project.
