CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - One lane of the Steel Bridge will be closed for three hours Thursday as crews complete utility work.

Elizabeth Vaughn with the City of Chesapeake said the work is scheduled, weather permitting, to take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Verizon will be completing utility work.

Flaggers will be directing traffic through the single open lane.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and expect possible delays.
