Fatal accident on JRB

NEWPORT NEWS, Va - The victim of a fatal accident on the James River Bridge Thursday afternoon has been identified as William David Fox.

Fox was a 58--year-old man from Carrollton, Virginia.

Fox was killed Thursday afternoon from his injuries sustained when his vehicle overturned in the Southbound lane around 2:09 p.m. on the James River Bridge.

Sergeant Singleton with the Virginia State Police has said that the cause of the accident is under investigation.

Singleton also tells WAVY.com that they are unsure whether or not Fox was wearing a seatbelt when his vehicle overturned.
