INDIANAPOLIS (WAVY) - William Mary's B.W. Webb played in this year's Senior Bowl and many believe he was the best defensive back on the field.

Among the three college football schools here in Hampton Roads, Webb was the only local college football player invited to this year's NFL combine.

Defensive backs and safeties got their skills put to the test. Webb was a top performer in his competition Tuesday in four different skills tests. His vertical jump was 40.5 inches; his broad jump was 132 inches. Webb also put up top performances in the 20 and 60-yard shuttle.  Webb is from Newport News and graduated from Warwick High School.
