NORFOLK, Va., (WAVY.com) - Former VIrginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Tyrod said he didn't warm up, but he's a quarterback, you knew he would throw it right down the middle.
Taylor, who went to Hampton high school, was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.
And even with all of this mess concerning the NFL lockout , Tyrod is ready and anxious to get to camp with his new team.
"Just have to go out there and show and prove it, for everybody it's ground zero, even the people that started last year have to go out there and prove themselves from day one and that's what I have to do. It's just a dream come true, it's something I've always dreamed about being a professional athlete and I'm looking to cherishing the moment and playing well." said Taylor
