NEW YORK (WAVY) - Virginia Beach's Gabby Douglas is scheduled to appear on NBC's ' America's Got Talent ' Wednesday night.

The two-time gold medalist gymnast will be part of the live results show which airs from 9 p.m. until 10 p.m. on August 15.

Douglas just returned from the London Summer Olympic games where she won gold in the team gymnastics competition and the individual all-around competition.

Since returning from the games, Douglas and her teammates have been on a whirlwind press junket. Douglas appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday night, alongside First Lady Michelle Obama. The next morning, the women's gymnastics team was profiled on the Today Show, where they answered questions from young fansW
