CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WAVY) - Phoebus has won its fourth state title in a row and the Oscar Smith seniors also went out on top.

The seniors at Phoebus High School were aiming for a perfect record in the playoffs, and they got it with their fourth state title in a row in the Division 5 playoffs.

Head coach Stan Sexton's team made history in Charlottesville. The final score was 20-10 over South County.

Oscar Smith beat Centreville 47-21.

J.J. Williamson threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns and Oscar Smith's defense forced five turnovers in a 47-21 victory over Centreville in the Group AAA Division 6 state championship game Saturday.

J.C. Coleman ran for 75 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers (14-1), who won their 14th consecutive game and second state title. Williamson did most of his damage in the first half, completing 12 of 14 passes for 202 yards.

Oscar Smith intercepted three passes, recovered two fumbles, and had four sacks.

Manny Smith rushed for 129 yards to lead Centreville (13-2), which trailed 25-9 by halftime. Centreville played most of the game without star tight end/defensive end Ken Ekanem. He suffered a knee injury with 5:35 left in the first quarter and did not return.
