VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Anthony Stringfield gets results. The founder of 1st String Sports trains most of the top athletes in Hampton Roads. Stringfield first made a name for himself as a stand out receiver with the Norfolk Nighthawks in the Arena Football League. Now he can be found getting speed and agility out of many standout athletes.
Recently, University of South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor worked out with Stringfield prior to this past weekends East-West College classic. Taylor worked out with football Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Smith and the results were instant. Taylor was named most valuable player in the bowl game and now he is expected to be drafted as high as the first round of the upcoming NFL draft.
