CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks' streak is still going into March. They extended their NHL record season-opening point streak to 21 games with a 4-3 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Brent Seabrook scored on a 2-on-1 break for the game-winner. Ray Emery had 19 saves for the win.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Blues turned a two-goal deficit into a two-goal lead. They beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 yesterday. Vladmir Sobotka put St. Louis ahead early in the third period and added an assist for the Blues. David Backes provided the insurance goal.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Joe Kelly couldn't have made a much more emphatic case for being in the St. Louis Cardinals' starting rotation. He had two hitless innings in the team's 8-8 tie against the Houston Astros. Houston starter Bud Norris struck out one and walked one in three innings. The Astros have left the NL Central this year for the AL West.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have used the franchise tag to log up their All Pro defensive tackle. The team announced that Henry Milton would receive the tag after efforts on a multi-year contract fell through. If an agreement isn't reached by July 15, Melton will play next season for $8.45 million.
