RICHMOND, Va. (AP/WAVY) - Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk held a pep rally Monday to celebrate the Lady Titan's State Basketball Championship.
Linda Stepney scored 11 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to help Lake Taylor beat defending champion Princess Anne 50-44 in the Group AAA girls championship game Friday night.
Lake Taylor (30-1) also beat Princess Anne in the regular season, but the Titans' lone loss was to Princess Anne (29-2) in the Eastern Region final.
