NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Lake Taylor was looking for a little revenge against Phoebus and that's exactly what they were able to do at Harbor Park Friday night.
Lake Taylor hadn't won a regional championship since 1982, but at Harbor Park they played like a championship team. The Titans jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished it. Lake Taylor runs all over the Phantoms, the final 54-0. The Titans advance to the state semi finals for the first time in 30 years.
In the Division 6 playoffs, Ocean Lakes taking on last year's state champions Oscar Smith. Ocean Lakes, defeats the defending state champions 14-10 to win the region. Dolphins will host a state semi final next week.
In Division 1 Franklin with a home playoff game against Altavista. Franklin wins 41-11.
On Saturday in Division 4, Smithfield hosts Courtland.
