Friday Night Flights is back

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - It’s back, the best high school football show on the east coast, Friday Night Flights.

WAVY News Sports Director Bruce Rader will fly on Chopper 10 to Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach to kick off the season. The Cavalier’s marching band will get things started with a live performance during the Sportswrap on WAVY News 10 at 6.

In addition, WAVY News’ Nicole Livas will be on hand to get things started out in Suffolk with a trip to Kings Fork and Lakeland high schools and will also make an appearance at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake. Nicole will toss out Friday Night Flights footballs into the stands, so make sure you’re there.

Crews will be all over Hampton Roads from Williamsburg to Suffolk to bring all the best highlights and scores at 11 p.m. only on WAVY TV 10.
