Admirals lose 4-3 in overtime

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Another night of hockey at Scope. Game 2 between the Syracuse Crunch and the Norfolk Admirals. The Admirals trying to bounce back after their 3-0 loss.   

7,000 at Scope to see the return of so many familiar faces, Cory Conacher, Tyler Johnson, Head Coach Jon Cooper, but this time those championship teammates on the visiting bench. After visiting practice this week, Admirals forward Jay Rosehill said this was supposed to be a turning point in their season.

The Crunch took a 3-2 lead over the Admirals on a goal by Richard Panik in the third period.
But with time running out in the third, the Admirals tie it right back up.  Norfolk on the power play and it's Kyle Palmieri that scores the game tying goal.

In overtime it was the team that was filled with players who played so well at Scope all last season that found a way to win.  The Crunch come through with the game winner by Brett Connelly.  Admirals lose 4-3.
