NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Head Coach Jon Cooper said the guys looked a little sluggish at practice but he's they'll be ready by tomorrow.
A surprise star this season for the Ads is undrafted rookie Cory Conacher.
He's the second leading scorer on the team with 35 points but he leads the league in goals at 18.
Fresh out of college, Conacher is used to playing a max of 40 games in a season, this year he'll be playing double that.
"You know I've already played 30 games and I needed that little bit of rest to rest the legs. Right now I feel pretty refreshed and ready to go again just because it's going to be a lot of games in very few days. Right now with the help from the vets and good and hopefully be alright down the stretch," said Conacher.
