NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Emerson Etem and Luca Caputi each had three-point games and Frederik Andersen stopped 23 shots as the Norfolk Admirals earned their third straight victory with a 5-0 shutout of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday night at Norfolk Scope Arena.
Etem netted two goals and an assist, while Caputi had a goal and two assists. Josh Brittain and Rod Pelley also scored for the Admirals, who out-shot the Sound Tigers, 35-23. Andersen earned his second win in as many nights and stopped 60 of 61 Bridgeport shots in the weekend series.
Admirals win three in a row with their 5-0 win at Scope over the Sound Tigers. Etem finished the game with three points. He'll play in the AHL All-Star game on Monday.
