FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) - The cold weather didn’t stop the fans from arriving at Gillette Stadium early to get ready for the AFC Championship game. In fact, many showed up well prepared for a tailgate feast.

Around the stadium parking lot in Foxborough, fans set up grills, coolers and tents, and they prepared their favorite game-day dish.

From steak, prime ribs and lobsters to raw oysters and crab cakes, Sunday's tailgate featured a wide variety of fan favorites.

Mat Nelson of Westfield told 22News in the end, it’s all about the atmosphere and bonding with fellow Patriots fans.
