HAMPTON, Va (WAVY) - Police need the public's help finding a man wanted for robbing three pharmacies in four days.
In each case, the suspect approached the clerk armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register.The suspect then fled the businesses on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police describe the suspect as a male, 20 to 25, 5’ 7” to 5’ 9” tall and 170 to 200 pounds.
The first robbery occurred on February 3 around 9:40 p.m. at the Rite Aid in the 4800 block of W. Mercury Boulevard. The second robbery happened on February 6 around 1:20 a.m. the CVS Pharmacy in the 2300 block of W. Mercury Boulevard. The third robbery occurred on February 7 around 3:50 a.m. at the Walgreens in the 900 block of W. Mercury Boulevard.
Anyone with information that could assist police is encouraged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 727-6111 or Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
