VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY.com) -- Virginia Beach police have arrested a third suspect, in connection with a violent home invasion. They are still searching for a fourth.

24-year-old Randell Thigpen-Kinght, knows as "20", was arrested on May 23rd and charged with Malicious Assault, Robbery and Use of a Firearm.

25-year-old Andrew Mattison and 23-year-old Christopher Joyner, Jr. are also in custody.

Detectives are still looking for 25-year-old Ephrim Lamar McCoy, III, aka Corey Carver.

The department issued the following news release with information about the incident :


On Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 11:23 p.m., Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report of a man shot during a home invasion in the 6000 block of Blacksmith Ct., in the College Park area of Virginia Beach.

The investigation revealed four suspects were involved. 

Arrested: Andrew M. Mattison Jr., 25, of the 5400 block of Cleve Abbey Lane, Virginia Beach, for Robbery and Use of a Firearm and Christopher Lee Joyner, Jr., 23, of the 3300 block of Pine Hill Crescent, Chesapeake, for Malicious Assault, Robbery, and Use of a Firearm and Randell L. Thigpen-Knight, 24, of the 4400 block of Seagrove Road, Portsmouth, for Malicious Assault, Robbery and Use of a Firearm.

Warrants are on file for Ephrim Lamar McCoy, III, 25, aka Corey Carver, aka "E," wanted for Malicious Assault, Robbery, and Use of a Firearm.   
 
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of McCoy is asked to call the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers Office at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887).  Callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward if their information leads to an arrest.
