VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - With gas prices nearing an all-time record high, most of us are cutting back on all unnecessary driving. But when it comes to shopping -- whether it be for food or goods -- it seems most retailers are making it easier for folks to check out right from their smartphones.

In today's Your Money Monday, 10 On Your Side's David Culver explains this growing trend that will end up saving you a trip or two. The combined effects of these moves could mean you're dishing out less when it comes to shopping and less at the pump.

See David's report in the accompanying video player.
