PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - They have lots of names: loyalty cards, club cards, advantage and reward cards. And chances are you have one right now in your purse or wallet. But are they getting out of hand?
Not every store chain uses them. Low cost giants like Target and Walmart don't have club cards and many smaller stores can't afford them. Still the loyalty cards don't seem to be going anywhere and that means more cards to carry, more to keep track of.
But there are ways to simplify. Ten On Your Side's David Culver reports on club card overload in Monday's "Your Money" report. See his report in the accompanying video.
