VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - 10 On Your Side is once again fighting identity theft and hunger with one great event. WAVY TV, Shred-It, the WooHoo Sistahs and area food banks have joined forces for a July 16 Shred-It event.
The event, benefitting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, will be held July 16, 2011 in the Kohl's Pembroke Mall parking lot in Virginia Beach from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A donation of four cans of food or $5 will get you one bag of goods shredded. If you have two bags of documents to shred, please bring eight cans of food.
