RICHMOND, Va. - Gov. Timothy Kaine has set a Jan. 6 special election to fill two open House of Delegates seats.

Voters in the 70th District will select a successor for former Del. Dwight C. Jones, who was elected Richmond's mayor last month. The district includes parts of Richmond and Henrico and Chesterfield counties.

Those in the 81st District will choose someone to fill the seat left open by Terrie Suit, who retired.

That district includes parts of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.
