RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) - A van with mail heading to two state agencies was stolen on Friday.

According to a release, the van was parked in a lot owned by the state Department of General Services, which is surrounded by barb wire fencing.

The mail inside was addressed to the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) and the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP).

If you sent mail to either agency recently take note of this situation. Both agencies will post information on their websites about the theft.

State police are looking for a light brown, 2002 GMC Safari with state plates that read "24274S".

If you have seen this van, call State Police at 804-553-3445.
