WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro riders should expect big delays on parts of the rail system over the three-day weekend.

The Waterfront-SEU and Archives-Navy Memoriall-Penn Quarter stations will be closed until Tuesday morning. The green line also will be closed at the L'Enfant Plaza station.

To help people get around those stations, Metro is rerouting the yellow line. From Saturday to Monday, it will follow the blue line route between the Pentagon and Stadium-Armory stations, with a stop at the L'Enfant Plaza. Shuttle buses also will be available.

The yellow line will be closed between Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter and Fort Totten, and the green line will be closed between the Navy Yard and Gallery Place-Chinatown stations.
