FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - A Fredericksburg family won the second largest prize ever awarded by the Virginia Lottery.

According to the Virginia Lottery, Dave Honeywell was at the Richmond International Airport on his way out of the area on a business trip and bought a Powerball ticket at a Lottery Express machine.

When he checked his numbers the next morning, he saw he won.

"I think my hear has started beating again," Honeywell told his wife.

The Honeywells chose the one-time cashout option of $136.4 million before taxes. Dave and his wife both work for the Department of Defense.
