UVa Vice Rector resigns

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WAVY) - UVa's Vice Rector Mark Kington has resigned from the University, along with multiple professors.

Kington said he believed this is the right thing to do and hopes that it will begin a needed healing process.

In the meantime, the UVa Faculty Senate held a silent vigil Wednesday in support of the reinstatement of President Teresa Sullivanm, and are calling fo the entire Board of Visitors to resign.
