RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) - State Police responded to nearly 700 accidents Wednesday, namely due to ice, rain and snow across the state.
According to Corinne Geller with Virginia State Police, as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, troopers responded to 686 traffic crashes in the Commonwealth.
Within the Hampton Roads area, Geller said troopers were dispatched to 41 crashes, 28 disabled vehicles and 163 total calls for service.
