RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is hosting three town hall meetings in southwest Virginia next week.
Officials say Cuccinelli is expected to discuss electricity rates and what factors drive the prices that consumers pay for electricity.
He also will talk about the impact of federal legislation and regulations on Virginia's electric prices, and his office's ongoing review of what Virginia can do to ensure that Virginia's electricity prices remain below the national average.
The meetings are scheduled for Monday night in Lynchburg, Tuesday night in Roanoke, and Wednesday night in Martinsville.
